Genesis 1:3 (KJV) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
If you know the background of this, in verse one God created the heavens and the earth. In verse two, after creation we see that the spirit of God moving upon the face of the earth wasn’t enough. The earth was still void and darkness covered it. The spirit of God didn’t change a thing. So, you can be spiritual. You can be in a spiritual church and not see a change. You can be in a spiritual situation where nothing changes. But this is what changed everything. This verse says, “GOD SAID”. It is when we speak, let there be light. It is when we speak to the situation. God has told us in MArk 11:23 that we can speak to the mountain and tell it to be moved. When you speak and release the word of God with your mouth, from your heart, that is when things change. In Hebrews 4:12 the Bible says that the word of God is sharp, quick, and powerful. It is sharper that two edged sword.
